Petrol: new historical record of 1.6 euro per liter

The price of gasoline has now reached a new historical record. According to the surveys of Baton Daily, in fact, was exceeded the fatal threshold of 1.6 euro per liter. In particular, in the case of Esso and Total / Erg is an increase of 1 cent per liter on the price of "green" with the national average price amounted respectively to € 1.595 per liter and 1.601 € / liter.

Slightly lower than the increase recorded at the Q8 petrol station: it is 0.5 cents per liter, with a national average at 1.592 € / liter. Only good thing about the price of diesel fuel, fell by 2 cents thanks to the decision to lower the suggested retail price of Eni in its distributors.

This decision had as a further result to involve the total market prompting many to scale down even by other companies, although smaller and not generalized throughout the Italian territory. Italy-wide, including areas where there is the additional regional, record gasoline prices falls to Puglia that stands at an altitude of 1.643 € / liter.

The most discordant note, however, comes from the fact that high prices at the pump, calculated on the national average, despite arriving on international markets has been a sharp drop in prices of refined products (less than $ 24 per ton for gasoline, less $ 19 for diesel). A drag down the international prices were the oil stocks data released IEE (the office of U.S.

energy statistics), and especially those on gasoline consumption released by the U.S. Department of Energy. Despite the fact U.S. gasoline stocks still remain at very low and declining, the steep increase of the same in recent months coupled with a marked slowdown in consumption has also had a depressing effect on refined products.
