Seat Leon, the new series arriving in Frankfurt

The Seat is not passing a good time, despite the investments in racing and sports models, the House of Martorell can not make happy the top of the Volkswagen Group which owns the property. That is its fate will pass through the new Leon which will show the public a final in September at the next Frankfurt Motor Show.

The compact Spanish will be offered in three configurations of body: 5 doors, 3-door and station wagon to counter increasingly fierce competition. Its lines are taut, nervous and more prone to the tastes of a young and dynamic. The interiors will undergo substantial changes and will see a decided change of course finishes with more refined and more attention to detail.

The new Leon will not be the poor cousin of the Golf and Audi A3. From the best-selling Volkswagen inherit the House floor, while the engine technicians Martorell will draw on wide range of German group which abound in TDI and TSI engines. All this will be enough to revive a brand in trouble? If expectations were disappointed, the Volkswagen Group could increase pressure on Fiat to acquire Alfa Romeo and Alfa made for the House of the role currently played by the Sports Brand Seat.
