Alfa Romeo Zagato TZ3: the standard version on a Viper?

The charming TZ3 prototype built by Zagato-based Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and winner of the contest Villa D'Este 2010, according to rumors, may soon have a commercial future. The fascinating, and coupes made by the Milanese coachbuilder commissioned by wealthy German collector Martin Klapp should abandon the 4.2-liter V8 derived from the 420 hp 4.5 liter of Alfa 8C, to be equipped with the most handsome and powerful 8.4-liter V10 with more than 600 CV, used on the Dodge Viper sports yenkee.

This abundance of horses on a total weight of just 850 kg, obtained using a lightweight structure made entirely of carbon tubular arms and combined with a hand-hammered aluminum body, would Hypercar performance given by a power to weight ratio of just 1 , 41kg/CV that could push the car from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds.

The technical features of top-level add to the timeless line that draws its origins from the first two editions of the TZ (Zagato Tube), or the TZ and TZ2, 1963, 1965. Recall that the TZ3 has beaten the competition for Villa D'Este competitors like Sword Ts Codatronca Coupe, Bentley Continental Flying Star Touring's Superleggera, Ferrari Superfast P540 Open Roadster and Coupe Hybrid Namir Frazer-Nash created by Giugiaro.

If everything goes well we could review the final version of the TZ3 in American event at Pebble Beach, while the market debut could come as early as during 2012.
