Porsche 906 restored by Patrick Motorsports

Patrick Motorsports has recently dedicated to the restoration of three beautiful Porsche 906. Pure nostalgia operation or something more? Perhaps, unconsciously, may have launched a fashion in the wake of the consent received from the recent Porsche 918 Spyder, a car that has rediscovered the love of a brand more sportiness demarcated.

This sporty than ever due to it was already highlighted in 1966 by the Porsche 906, a car without compromising taste purely pistaiole, as demonstrated by the fact that it was marketed also in race-replica. The Porsche 906 is a car minimalist, with a weight of only 580 kg, this is also thanks to its tubular space-frame type as well as a car body made of fiberglass.

The motor (central) that drives the Porsche 906, is a six-cylinder, 2000 cubic centimeters with air-cooled boxer architecture, capable of emitting a maximum power of 220 hp, which allowed the 906 to touch a bit fast acceleration of 280 km / h. Patrick Motorsports made on these three cars is a meticulous work, faith restored keeping the original design philosophy but with a foot firmly in the present, making sure the suspension and Hall, both of them, have been completely redesigned using today's technologies and materials.

So much work to that performed by the young American on a car with a timeless feel.
