At the Politecnico di Torino will create a new master's degree course called the International Joint Degree in Automotive Engineering. This was the conclusion of the Agreement between the CEO of Chrysler and Fiat, Sergio Marchionne, and Rector of the Polytechnic of Turin and the Canadian University of Windsor, Francesco Profumo and Alan Wildeman.
The Bachelor IJMD will be a limited number and can attend a maximum of 50 students from two universities. The Chrysler has always been active from this point of view and engineers that will form from this course will be ready for the new global scenarios in the world of cars. Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering, born in 1999 still at the Politecnico di Torino, will continue to exist until at least 2014, when it expires, the new partnership between Fiat and the University of Turin.
