Land Rover Freelander 2: reached 250,000 units

Land Rover celebrates production of 250,000 units of the Freelander 2 in English Halewood plant. The production vehicle to achieve that goal is a 2.2 TD4 Fuji Color White, delivered to a customer from Scotland. The Freelander 2 is Land Rover production since 2007 and has increased the demand for this model just for the past 11 months, with an encouraging 22% over the previous year.

70% of the Freelander 2 is destined for export, TD4 diesel versions SD4 150 hp and 190 hp. The model has undergone a makeover in late 2010 with minor cosmetic changes, mainly concentrated in the front, new interior materials, and especially with the introduction of starvation in front-wheel drive layout, capable of emitting only 158 g / km of CO2 with the diesel 150 hp, which will be available soon.
