Kia Naimo

Kia presented during the Seoul Motor Show a prototype electrically powered Naimo named and created in anticipation of a future city car with four doors and five seats with zero emissions. This car will be inserted in the crossover segment of car body through a rather massive, long but only 3.89 meters wide and 1.84 high 1:58, which fully justifies the use of the term Naimo: this word derives from the Korean "Ne-mo" and indicates a square shape.

The designers of the Kia design team of Seoul have also characterized the car with details such as the wraparound windshield, the asymmetrical profile of the roof and LED lights, while the mirrors are replaced by two cameras embedded in the uprights. Definitely curious solution introduced to remove the wipers, replaced by a high-pressure air acts like a brush, while the Imperial is covered with paper and Korean Han-ji instrumentation and multimedia systems are played on a TOLEDO panel (Transparent Organic Light Emitting Diode).

Very significant system for opening the doors, no B-pillar and moving cabinet. Kia said Naimo used as an electric motor, synchronous type with permanent magnets. Delivers a maximum power of 109 hp and a torque of 280 Nm, while the autonomy amounts to 200 km and top speed is 150 km / h. Under the floor there are two battery packs (27 kWh) lithium polymer battery, which can be recharged in 5 hours with a plant from 3.3 kW or 25 minutes (but only for 80%) from a plant of 50 kW.
