The Japanese tuner Wald International has presented its latest creations on the basis of the new Mercedes CLS and BMW 5 Series last, underlining once again his preference for the German car industry. Both are characterized by a particularly aggressive, these sport sedans will face an unprecedented challenge to shock tuning.
For the four-door coupe from Mercedes, Wald offers a body kit designed to significantly increase the "nastiness" of the car and bring it closer to the ideal version edited by AMG, without lapsing into bad taste. The credit goes to the excellent base represented by the CLS that despite the Bavarian sedan offers a sporty design, but must give up to fifth place and a few inches of space because of the very sloping rear window.
The front end gains a new bumper which incorporates an aerodynamic splitter very pronounced, LED daytime running lights and two gills intended to incanalanare more air to the powerful. The rear is distinguished by the unusual air extractor carbon fiber sprouting from the four sports exhaust in stainless steel.
Complete the set of processing the four alloys in black - model Rennovatio - 22 inch and large side air intakes as well as having a strong visual effect, perform the very important task of cooling the "hot" spirit of 'braking system. The same is done for the CLS, also applies to the BMW 5 Series that fellow in the white copy of the photo earns an intriguing-aerodynamic body kit that highlights the sporty characteristics and dynamics of the car.
The front end benefits from new aerodynamic and LED daytime running lights, they were also used for the rear lights, while the side view is dominated by new side skirts and the classic double-spoke alloy wheels from 22 inches of Wald. The massive tail shows two new spoiler, positioned above the rear window on the first and the second incorporated at the end of the trunk rack.
The lower part of the tail instead sports a new bumper that acts as air extractor and incorporates the rear fog lamp in the middle, while the sides come out the exhaust pipes split vaguely reminiscent of those used on the Ferrari California and the Lexus IS-F. The two cars after the processing done by Wald are even more sporty without losing their personality.
Hard to say which of the two calculations have reinterpreted the best values of its two models. In both cases, the kit, while it gave a good dose of sportiness, the line does not weigh too much, especially on BMW: particularly liked the clean side, rather than on the Mercedes is "contaminated" by a striking air vents, in addition to the ribs are already standard.
The 5 Series by Wald seems the most balanced in general, and then she is to win the confrontation.
