Seat of the future will be full of events as the Spanish company plans to launch four new models in 2012. James Muir, a number of Seat, said: "We aim to increase our current sales (which today are around 340,000 units, ed) 8-10% due to the current range of models. We aim in particular to sell 45,000 and 20,000 ST Ibiza Alhambra this year.
Our brand is gaining strength. " New Products in 2012 will be the new Seat Leon, "a brand new entry-level, a four-door sedan, the sedan and a restyled Ibiza three volumes of which we know very little. It could be a new model that resemble the Toledo and will be responsible for the replacement market or a strong Exeo restyling of the same Exeo.
Others argue that the novelty of the Seat concerns a return to a three-volume B-segment, something similar to the Cordoba to speak. However Seat will provide new jobs, "from 300 to 800" to use the words of Muir. Future goals are to bring Seat by 2018 the share of sales to 800 thousand units per year.
