Chevrolet will present at the Shanghai show the new Malibu. As was the case for many other cars, the new midsize sedan will become a global model, taking the place of epic in the European market. Epsilon will use the same platform also used by the Opel Insignia and therefore increase in size to the advantage of interior space: a sketch is shown in the movie with the classic Chevrolet and front lines rather than straight, while the rear lights seem inspired by those of the Camaro.
For now, Chevrolet has just released a video teaser of the first and taillights, while the figures on which there are still technical details: most likely the American version will have 2-liter 4-cylinder engines and turbo 2.4, with availability four-wheel drive and a possible hybrid version, whereas in Europe we will need the diesel variant.
