Aston Martin could produce new Maybach

Return to the rumors that Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz engaged in what could be described as the "tests" of an agreement, an agreement that would bear fruit in giving new life to a brand as glorious as the Maybach, but that should also benefit from beyond the Channel. Have long been described as a possible co-operation agreement which should lead Aston Martin contributing to the creation of a new Maybach limousine, which could be assembled at Aston Martin's Gaydon factory based on the Mercedes S-Class which will be released on the market in 2013.

Today, however, the voices come back to bite again and also seem quite insistent. The axis between England and Germany that would give the final impetus to the revival of the Maybach, than by the Stuttgart have repeatedly tried to revive in the past and should be improved with the launch of a flagship luxury of height expectations.

The possible participation of the Aston Martin project will not be completely free of course, because the English company would receive in exchange for its commitment to access to the platform from which are the Mercedes ML and GL SUVs, which could be used for future Gaydon Aston Martin Lagonda, in addition to receiving a dowry of the 4.7-liter V8 supercharged 435 hp and 700 Nm, which is the gem that is already using some Mercedes models like the Mercedes S600.

It would thus be a synergy with mutual benefits for both groups, although rumors of course still leave room for agreement on the details, it seems that the foundations were laid with the satisfaction of stakeholders. It is no coincidence, in fact, who suggests that if there is already a first aspect of the collaboration between Aston Martin and Mercedes will be seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, where it should make a debut Maybach concept car, which would anticipate the future flagship of the German mark and then coming in later months.
