Jaguar confirmed the availability of the 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel for the new XF, awaiting in September with a slight facelift. This downsizing, feared by the public to the risk of buying a car "under-powered," has been carefully evaluated by Jaguar: thanks to the torque output and the presence of the start-stop system allows the result obtained performance comparable to that of competitors, with an acceleration of 0-100 km / h in 8.5 seconds, with an average consumption of about 4.5 l/100 km and emission of 149 g / km of CO2.
