Q7 SUVs were not enough, then Q5 and recently presented the latest Q3 in Shanghai. In the Audi you're assuming the debut, in a not too remote future, to launch a fourth model that follows the path of downsizing undertaken. The latest issue is the Q1, an ultra compact SUV meant for the urban and in fact represent the final piece to complete the range of sport utility vehicles targati Audi.
At the moment, it is worth pointing out, there's nothing definitive. The heads of the house with the four rings are thinking about it as a platform construction used to produce the future Q1. Today there are even three hypotheses on the table, use the platform of the A1 Sportback sister, a solution that would ensure the market debut as early as 2013 and until 2015, taking advantage of the Audi MQB platform, from which all models of group Volkswagen tomorrow and with transverse engine, or wait until 2016, ultimately aiming at an advanced solution in combination with the next generation of A2.
Great unknown of course the price of the new Q1 attack that according to rumors, however, would be around € 24 thousand, a price very competitive and attractive.
