It is recent news that confirms the willingness on the part of General Motors, to allocate a large sum, well $ 131 million to help historians Corvette plant, located in Kentucky, near Bowling Green, where 250 new jobs will arise by virtue there the decision to produce the new Corvette C7. This new Corvette, which will represent the seventh generation of the historic American car for years on the crest of the wave should arrive towards the end of 2013 and it is these new funds should allow the construction.
In fact, the historical establishment, are now 400 people jobs, they work on a single shift, and is the only production center of the brand for thirty years now, thus constituting a place of pilgrimage for thousands of fans each year . Three years ago, this historic establishment, however, suffered the significant staff reductions due to the economic downturn, bringing to risk even close, so it is worth emphasizing, as these new funds are important.
These funds, however, will not be used for a widening of the production site, but with an upgrade of production machinery in order to implement the production, especially in view of the arrival of C7.
