If the rival Audi a few weeks ago she presented an interesting nautical design Trimaran Concept, these days Mercedes has unveiled a new medium that goes beyond the automotive sector: the EC145 helicopter luxury Mercedes-Benz Style made with the collaboration of 'Eurocopter company specialized in the field.
The unknown aircraft was officially launched in recent days at the Salone Ebac 2011 (European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition), scheduled for May 17 to 19 in Geneva. Designed for the needs of business and private journeys "first class", the interiors were designed by the innovative helicopter designer of Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Como, which were inspired by the ergonomics and design of the German manufacturer of luxury cars.
This particular model EC-145 has been prepared according to the canons Mercedes-Benz, which ranks as among the top medium-capacity twin-engine helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter. The aircraft has a rotor blade with no joints and improved to ensure the least possible noise and vibration, to the benefit of comfort of the occupants.
The cabin is the only helicopter in its class to be able to accommodate up to eight passengers, housed in a luxurious environment and class where they were installed on a floor covered with teak wood - often used on yachts - 8 seats each that can be embellished with a wide choice of fine leather, including leather.
All seats are mounted on rails and can be rearranged to accommodate four to eight passengers, or in case of need can be completely removed to create more space for the luggage and the cargo area has several options anchor on the floor and walls in order to deliver the most convenient and practical in any type of luggage or equipment, such as sports.
