The challenges in Formula 1 is not only playing the track on the edge of tenths of a second, but also in the pits. In a highly competitive environment it is not surprising then that becomes the pit stop because of "spying", such as to enable potential spied all necessary measures to protect themselves.
In fact, last weekend in Barcelona, when Ferrari and Red Bull have their first pit usage guides practically at the same time, there were those who spoke of possible espionage by Maranello, which would have made the decision to call for Alonso return tires after it learned that the Austrian team was addressing Vettel.
To prevent similar situations from reoccurring, Red Bull has decided to adopt different procedures in the preparation of the pit-stop for the forthcoming Monaco Grand Prix, so as not to understand in advance of their intentions to the opponents and avoid so that they change their strategies according to the information snatched.
By the team led by Chris Horner, however, there is no swipe at Ferrari, even the team principal of Red Bull has pointed out that some comments on the alleged spying Ferrari have been the result of misunderstanding and that none of Red Bull has voiced doubts about the legality of the conduct of men in red.
In short, there is no intention to create new and additional arguments that no one feels the need in this Formula 1, but it is clear that something in Red Bull will change immediately, although it is unclear what will they think of men for Horner "encrypt" their intentions.
