Fiat Group sales down in April

Fiat sales figures in decline even in April: in the fourth month of the year the market share of the Group and 'stood at 28.71%, down from 30.73% recorded in the same period in 2010. The total registrations of Lingotto amounted to 45,176 units: in particular have been delivered to 32,113 Fiat equal to -14.89% (market share of 20.41%, down 23.45% since April 2010).

The Turin confirms, however, the house with the highest trading volumes in Italy. Less negative numbers with 7555 Lancia unit loses "only" -4.81% and went from a market share of 4.93% to 4.8%. Alfa Romeo instead continues to live its golden period: the registration of cars snake through April totaled 5,508 units (+49.47%) with a market share of 3.50% (was at 2.29% in 2010).

Throughout 2011 the Fiat brand registrations correspond to 137,559 units (-32.19%) representing a market share of 20:48% (it was 24.47% in 2010). Lancia beginning of the year, with its 31,026 units, reported a fall limited to -18.27% with a slight increase in market share: from 4.58% in 2010 to 4.62% of this first quarter 2011.

Alpha continues to smile that, with 25,497 units sold from January to April 2011 will take home an increase of 39.95% and a market share rose from 2.2% to 3.8%. The second highest enrollment in April is the Volkswagen with 13,079 units (+11.34%), followed by Ford with 12,876 (-9.83%) and Opel with 10,616 (+2.86%).

In crises, including the French Renault with 8,164 cars which register (-3.92%), 7454 with Citroen and Peugeot drops by 4.67%, 7,178 units, registering a heavy -17.61%. Contrasting the numbers of the Japanese Nissan recorded a +35.22% (6508 units) and Toyota were down -4.81% to 6,070 units.
