Ford Fiesta ST will look like the Focus ST

The Ford Fiesta ST will now lacks only the official announcement. The house has begun testing its own small hot-hatch, which, apparently, will have an aesthetic very similar to that of the next Focus ST. The stylistic trait that the two sports have in common is the big mouth for the precision that characterize the front.

Clearly, the manufacturer has not yet spoken to official data, but it seems likely that the new Fiesta "angry" will fit the 1.6 turbo direct injection EcoBoost family. The unit could use a power supply with this next to the 200 hp, for a 000-100 with just over six seconds and a top speed of around 225 km / h.

As for the appearance, the Fiesta ST could show off a stripper back with two tailpipes arranged at its ends, for a layout very similar to that of OPC Opel Corsa and Renault Clio RS. There will clearly classics widened wheel arches, side skirts and roof spoiler at the rear end. The sport suspension of the Fiesta will naturally stiff compared to the overall pattern of departure and stance will be lowered a few inches.

Also the track will grow in width, the brakes will have more generous dimensions and as regards the interior is expected to debut by profiling sports seats designed by Recaro. The Fiesta ST will be launched in 2012, unlike the larger Focus which will debut this year.
