Google: the future cars will be smart

The drivers of the future will be guided by the API. Written capital, which stands for Application Programming Interface, with no reference to insects. And it is the API to be the breeding ground of a joint project between Google and Ford, which will lead to the development of an architecture for driver assistance as each car in turn refined by thinking object.

What we see then a movie scenario: the car is approached by the "brains" to figure out where it is directed, after which the system will calculate the route, choosing the route of course is more favorable in terms of traffic and consumption. This is due to the APIs, algorithms that use historical data (location, speed, frequency of a certain way) to predict and optimize a future situation.

If the driver is directed to the office, the software suggests which way to go to save time and fuel. With a hybrid car you can for example walk with the thermal engine during the first stage of the journey to save the batteries for a walking tour of the brainy which was already known. Commercialization is not expected before 2015.
