The manufacturer of sports cars, Veritas announced the study of a sporty coupe - documented by some renderings made to the computer - driven by the engine of the upcoming BMW M5, while the structure will result from the spider Veritas RS III, presented last year as a model of recovery Opel. Founded in 1948, the small car manufacturer Veritas - in collaboration with the BMW Group - had produced in the early years after World War II a number of interesting racing car.

Unfortunately, a few years later, due to some financial problems, the manufacturer sank into oblivion for almost 60 years, until all'insperata rebirth took place last year, with the presentation of the aforementioned boat Veritas RS III. Since this car will come in the near future coupe configuration with a second model that will pick up near the design and size of the RS III, with some innovative solutions such as the exhaust system brand new set in the center of the extractor and air intakes dedicated air to cool the engine.

But the most interesting of the new project will be under the hood: Veritas Coupé will use the fact the all-new 5.5-liter V8 engine which will power the future Twinturbo BMW M5 (F10). This engine made by the technical department of the Bavarian house Motorsport well unleashes at least 560 hp and 680 Nm of torque which, combined with the lightweight carbon fiber body, will ensure breathtaking performance.

For the moment the small studio has given no information about a possible production date and the relative cost of the car. For it is easy to imagine that could easily touch the threshold of € 400,000, whereas the price of € 350,000 on the Veritas RS III and the high technical content on the car.
