Autocar compares BMW 1 Series M Coupe and Porsche Cayman R, two of the most interesting novelty in view of recent models for the true driving enthusiasts. Despite the price difference in favor of BMW, the two cars offer performance is not very far apart, yet differ in the driving feel and the technical choices: more rock, heavy BMW, which requires expertise when electronic controls are disabled, more accurate and refined the Boxster, which with the R version is much more than a simple set-up than the other versions.
The final vote is in favor of the Porsche, but it confirms the excellent price-performance ratio of the BMW and the happy choice of M department to assemble the 3-liter twin-turbo in the "small" number 1.
