Zagato has released the first official video dedicated to the TZ3 Street, the glamorous sport made based on the Dodge Viper, the Atelier in Milan. The short clip shows the first action of the nine specimens referred to the limited production, intended for wealthy American collector Eric King, a member of the Automobile Museum in Saratoga in upstate New York.
Although the name fool you, the TZ3 Road has nothing to do with the TZ3 stroke winner of the Villa d'Este Design Concept Award 2010 ", both with regard to the" chassis "that is derived from the basic mechanics famous American sports. Born from pencil Norihiko Harada, the road TZ3 boasts a carbon fiber body that ends with the typical truncated tail, a tribute to miticheTZ and TZ2, which improves the coefficient of aerodynamic drag of the car without lengthening the rear with the addition a third volume or the adoption of aerodynamic.
Another important stylistic detail to note is certainly unusual glazing which wraps around the cockpit with a single element without pillars, giving it a clean design and even cleaner than the solution used for the TZ3 Corsa. As mentioned above, the TZ3 uses Stradale Zagato chassis, engine and mechanical parts of the sporty Viper ACR, Fiat orbit today.
Under the hood of the TZ3 are endless because the powerful 8.4-liter V10 capable of more than 600 bhp and the mighty peak torque of 760 Nm, which portend the first level of performance that unfortunately have not been declared by the Atelier in Milan. Delivery of the first copy of the TZ3 will be followed shortly by those of two other models of the nine units of small-budgeted series.
The second car was in fact booked by an unnamed Japanese customer, while the third will go to a sport so lucky European collector, also remained anonymous. Same goes for the price of the car that is strictly confidential, but we can bet that it is absolutely in line with the beauty and rarity of the Italian sports.
