Mugen Honda CR-Z

The Mugen Euro has developed a version of the tuning Honda CR-Z with more than 200 hp and 215 Nm of torque through the expansion of its hybrid system formed by coupling a gasoline engine and an electric motor. All this to prove that a car "clean" can convey great feeling on the road. The maximum performance can be obtained on command: "echo", "normal" and "sport." The maximum operating economy for everyday use with sportier performance for a good time when conditions permit.

The car retains the original engines Honda IMA (electric) and i-VTEC (1.5-liter gasoline). The addition of the supercharger enables a power increase of 50% and all the profound changes to the mechanics are handled by a new electric system integrated directly developed by Mugen. It is the ICF (Integrated Centrifugal Forced-induction), which makes the entire work in harmony, sophisticated electro-mechanical package.

The values are now very high torque even at low speeds, where the ICF works best to combine the two engines with no loss of power with the passage dall'elettrico the heat. Besides the engine, the Mugen changes have involved the whole mechanics of the car. Meanwhile, the total weight was reduced by 50 kg doors and hood using carbon fiber racing seats front and rear and remove completely.

The value of the weight / power ratio is 5,4:1 time. The suspension shall take 5 position adjustable shock absorbers, alloy wheels are 17 "and there is also a new exhaust system. As for traction, we have added a limited slip differential lock. Aesthetically speaking, the Honda by Mugen CR-Z features a revised aero kit consisting of a new front bumper with spoiler, side skirts and rear bumper with a real air extractor.
