Alfa Romeo 4C Concept: baby rage

It began with a few rumors that over time have become increasingly insistent until it becomes practically official. Today we know that the rumors were correct and that the Geneva Motor Show 2011 Alfa Romeo 4C presents the Concept, a sporty compact rear-wheel drive 2-seater: a blessing for alfisti doc.

The concept looks like a classic coupe for 2, with reduced size: about 4 meters in length and pitch of less than 2.4 meters, to enable the 4C Conept to be agile on every road. Agility also ensured by the motor 1750 turbo gasoline direct injection of more than 200 hp (that of Juliet Quadrifoglio Verde), the dual clutch dry "TCT Alfa" Alfa DNA switch with dynamic control of the vehicle.

Powerful motor vehicle weighing more than content, thanks to massive use of carbon fiber and aluminum (just like the KTM X-Bow from which it borrows the chassis) that have led to heavier car less than 850 kg . The power to weight ratio is about 4kg/CV, really remarkable. The performance can not be that exciting: speed of 250 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h blanket in less than 5 seconds.

The Alfa Romeo 4C concept in short is something that's been waiting for alfisti and the good news comes straight from the top of the house: the model is not only a fascinating concept but will go into production during 2012. It seems in fact that Volkswagen should put his soul in peace, because Fiat is planning to focus more strongly on the Alfa.
