Chevrolet at Geneva presents the HB5 Cruze Hatchback, the new Aveo Sedan is the European version of the Camaro Coupe and Cabriolet. Celebrating 100 years of activity, Chevrolet announced record results for 2010 and focuses on product innovations: the Cruze sedan is thus flanked by the 5-door variant, which is important for the success of the European market and has a 400 liter trunk.
The Aveo, on the other hand, presents the sedan version, with the aim of extending upwards the catchment area: with a length of 4.38 meters offers 502 well-liter capacity for luggage. The range of engines Aveo will be finalized by 75 and 95 hp 1.3 diesel system with Start / Stop. The eagerly awaited European version of the Camaro has been revealed by the 6.2-liter V8 engine only: available at dealerships from September 2011, will be capable of 432 hp and 569 Nm of torque with manual transmission and 405 hp with automatic transmission and system Active Fuel Management to deactivate four cylinders under specific conditions, reducing fuel consumption.
The Camaro V8, according to early information gathered directly at the show, could be raised from 45,000 Euros, a very attractive price considering the price / power: The V6 entry-level, if it ever were to be imported, could drop safely to the below the psychological threshold of 40,000 Euros.
