De Tomaso 420 million for Termini Imerese

De Tomaso yesterday outlined the business plan developed to boost the Termini Imerese plant that Fiat Group will leave at year end, as has already been widely announced. The company's Alejandro de Tomaso, entered the short list of candidates for the post-Fiat, has secured an investment of over € 420 million in three years, with the absorption of about 1,450 workers currently working at the industrial hub that rotates around the plant in Sicily.

The business plan of the De Tomaso was presented to representatives of the Region of Sicily, to those of the Ministry of Economic Development and trade unions, which have confirmed some details such as the desire to create a harness inside the factory set to hand sewing the car interiors, an area that should bind to only 29% of staff.

In addition, the group of Gian Mario Rossignolo spoke of the desire to bring the production of Termini Imerese 38/40.000 cars a year, assembling in Sicily two new high-end models divided between a supermini and a luxury compact SUV.
