Fiat 500 Coupé Zagato at the Geneva Motor Show

A new exercise in style using the versatile Fiat 500. This time it is a work performed by the legendary four-hand body Zagato of Milan and the Fiat Style Centre. His name is 500 Coupe Zagato and was exposed in the Fiat stand at Geneva Motor Show 2011. Its lines are clearly inspired by the car aerodynamics created by the same Zagato in the Fifties (again based on the contemporary Fiat 500), and a silhouette with a coupé-like impression, and quite aggressive.

The particular shape of the roof has taken over the characteristic "double hump" emblem of Zagato, which combines the lowering of the car to maintain a decent living space. The concept Turin proposes the "2 +2" maintaining the compact size of this basic model: in fact, is 355 cm long, 163 wide, 149 cm tall and has a wheelbase of 230 inches.

Compact car that hides under the hood Twin in the engine 105 hp version that ensures performance in the face of a significant reduction in fuel consumption and emissions. To achieve this, the engine takes a specific "turbomatching" (motor-turbo). The torque is established at the 155 Nm at 2500 rpm) and the power to weight ratio is in the order of 124 hp per liter: one of the best achievements in terms of specific power.

All this in the face of CO2 emission levels of 95 g / km. The 500 Coupe Zagato was presented in yellow livery Pop, a special body color with three-layer interference to the white lines that emphasize the car's image by giving fun and full of energy. The interior also features seats that are inspired by sports upholstery "diamond" and the fabric combined with suede yellow and black natural leather of planking which give a youthful and contemporary.

The decidedly sporty look can also be found on the steering wheel - also covered in leather with contrasting stitching in tune with the handles in yellow suede - and the end of the bridge which, combined with the exterior color, was treated in "eco-chrome "burnished to a more aggressive style.

Finally, another typical element of the coupe, is the roof lining fabric with dark yarn embellished with a "monofilament" transparent, giving it a delicate sheen. In keeping with its sporting character, 500 Coupe Zagato presents external elements in polished chrome, alloy 17-inch split-spoke Chrome Shadow and synthetic inserts (made by APP-TECH), 205/40 R17 tires and 4 cross-drilled brake discs.

As the basic model, also on "Zagato" is the "my-port", port, multimedia mail on the dashboard that allows you to connect with the world through a new generation of smartphones is enabled to access the internet and satellite navigation.
