Fiat 500 First Edition: begin deliveries

They have finally started in the USA deliveries of Fiat 500Prima Edition, Version celebrating the return of the Italian brand in the U.S. (absent since 1984) with his car more representative. The car is characterized by unique combinations of colors and logos identifying and will be produced, guess', 500.

The second sheet 11 of the first edition went to Shaun Folkerts, 38 years (under the photos of the delivery of which has also intervened Laura Soave, head of the Fiat brand in North America). The man collects Fiat cars for years: the Folkerts can boast a collection of 90 pieces made from 1958 (some still under renovation).

Shaun, a former environmental consultant and a full time dad, lives in Pennsylvania and has withdrawn his car in Gaithersburg, Maryland in a Fiat dealership in the greater Washington DC. "I was waiting for 28 years the arrival of this model in the U.S., so I would go anywhere at any time for this 500.

A true enthusiast, fascinated by Fiat as a boy: her first car was a Fiat Spider and there has never changed his mind about the Italian company. But the target aimed at by the 500 is quite varied: there are many, of all ages, of both sexes and of different social backgrounds customers bewitched by this First Edition.

That delivery was a special moment for Harry Criswell, owner of the dealership: "This is definitely one of the highlights of my career. This is the perfect car for this period (post-crisis ed) and the American public is ready for this type of vehicle. The Fiat 500 will certainly be the forerunner for a new market segment in the U.S..
