The new Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion label is present at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 in progress. The 2011 Passat BlueMotion will be equipped with a 1.6 liter engine and 105 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 Nm can consume an average of only 4.2 liters of fuel per 100 km, while CO2 emissions are contained in 109 g / km.
In practice a 70-liter tank with the Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion can travel up to 1'666 km on one tank of diesel. With this engine, the Passat BlueMotion can achieve a maximum speed of 195 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is covered in 12.5 seconds. Inside the cabin of the sedan of the German noise is reduced by a lot, thanks to the use of an absorbing film on the windshield and side windows.
The Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion will go on sale at a starting price of € 26'200 and Trendline version will arrive up to 28'650 € for the Comfortline version.
