Mazda 6: U.S. call because of ... spiders

In America, the owners of 65.000Mazda 6 (50,000 U.S. and 15,000 in Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico) have been advised to bring their cars from the dealer for a rather unusual reason: the large spiders (the size of a coin) is would be settled - and attacked - in the petrol line-threatening obstruction of the fuel.

Not to mention that the cobwebs of these "Cheiracanthium inclusum" could also prevent or restrict the passage of exhaust gases. To identify the cause of this problem that would occur over the ocean in twenty cases have been bothered entomologists and investigators, that the problem would have occurred even before the tubes were sent to the assembly line.

It would have been exacerbated as these spiders love the smell of petrol and are conducted in these excellent place for nesting. But there is a case that perplexes dell'Nhtsa representatives, the U.S. federal authorities for safety in transport: the spider was found 2 years after delivery of the vehicle.

Which suggests that the problem is due to input "illegal" when the vehicle was parked. Mazda executives are working hard to try to educate dealers on how to solve this problem.
