Toyota - Geneva Motor Show Live 2011

Important news for Toyota at Geneva: the Japanese had been requested to HSD Yaris hybrid, the Prius + and FT-86 Concept II. But first things first. The Yaris HSD anticipates the production model hybrid of utilitarianism Japan and has a slightly different design than the new Yaris. HSD Hybrid Synergy Drive is for: the car is in fact driven by the combination of endothermic and drive an electric motor.

Not issued any other technical data but Toyota has ensured that the car will be the leader in its segment for fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. The Prius + is instead the version MPV 7 seats in the Prius, already lodged in Detroit under the name Prius V has the same mechanics of the Prius, with engine 1.8 to Atkinson cycle and an electric motor powered by lithium-ion battery, for a total of 136 hp.

Final data from this model are still not yet been clarified. And then there's the FT-86 Concept II, far more intriguing of these cars. This coupe is a further step towards the production version of the Toyota sport / Subaru coming onto the market in 2012. The car measures 4.235 m in length, has a wheelbase of 2.57 m, 1.795 m wide and 1.27 high.

E 'powered by a 4-cylinder boxer engine combined with 6-speed manual transmission, but for which no details were released.
