Volvo starts this weekend (19-20 March 2011.) Season opener of the WTCC in Curitiba, Brazil in a preparatory season for the World Touring Car Championship 2012th the new season. It is to be collected especially important experience for a possible official entry into the race series next year with the used set of motorsport partner Polestar Racing Volvo C30 Drive.
Volvo's first with the current 2-liter engine at the start. It will be replaced during the season but with a 1.6-liter turbo, which is based on a completely new engine family, the Swedish manufacturer. At the wheel of the C30 will sit Robert Dahlgren, last season's Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
