Alfa Romeo 4C: first debut in the U.S.

After the rumors and subsequent denials about possible delays in the launch of Alfa Romeo in the U.S., Sergio Marchionne has reaffirmed its resolve to land on U.S. soil under the brand name of the snake in late 2011 and early 2012, launching as first model the beautiful Alfa 4C. Unveiled in concept form last Geneva Motor Show, the 4C attempts to conquer the American public with a series of interesting ingredients including the charming line of a coupe with a low center of gravity and the sporty rear-wheel drive combined with the offer from the central engine 1750 cc turbocharged with dual-clutch gearbox "TCT".

According to the statements of the 'CEO of the Fiat Group, the landing in America of 4C will be followed by another new model, which is the future of the SUV snake now in gestation for many years. The first SUV in the history of the Milan company will produce it from next year in Fiat's Mirafiori plant in Turin, where it will be assembled together with the new Jeep SUV brand.

The third model to be exported to America - but the first in importance and volume of sales - will be the eagerly awaited Alfa Romeo Giulia, the subject of rumors a few days ago that talked about a possible delay of his debut because of some doubts on the part Marchionne on the design of the new model.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is considered a key pawn for the relaunch of the Fiat Group and if something goes wrong, the future fate of the Alfa Romeo could be put back into question.
