The new Volkswagen Beetle, which debuted in a preview for the general public at the Salon of Shanghai and New York (the second still in progress), has received many positive comments and rumors they want already entering the market a version of R already view models of the Volkswagen Golf and Scirocco.
The Volkswagen Beetle R could mount a 2.0 TSI turbo 4-cylinder 265 hp engine, the car and so should have performance similar to that of the Golf: acceleration 0-100 km / h in 5.5 seconds and covered with top speed electronically limited to 250 km / h. Nothing is official yet but if the R Beetle Volkswagen engineers had to be really sure to drop by the set, put the DSG dual-clutch, and probably will use the Motion 4 wheel drive.
The aerodynamics of the Volkswagen Beetle ad hoc would be renewed with spoiler, new air intakes, LED lighting specifications, new exhaust, pedals, steering wheel and sport seats.
