TZ3 Stradale Zagato

Zagato delivers the first TZ3 Road car built to celebrate the 100 year history of Alfa Romeo (1910-2010). The car comes from one stroke off TZ3, winner of the Villa d'Este Design Concept Award 2010 and will be assembled into 9 pieces. If the version is a car race track, defined by Zagato as "Neo Classical", the TZ3 Road is an exercise in style, a "avant-garde." The TZ3 Road is built on the chassis of the Viper ACR mechanized and has a carbon fiber body.

The Italian studio says that "thanks to the recent joint venture between Fiat Group and Chrysler / Dodge, may be the first Alfa Romeo American history." First Street was submitted to the American collector Eric King, a member of the Automobile Museum in Saratoga (NY). The TZ3 is rather travel on a tank made of carbon fiber, combined with a tubular steel chassis and equipped with hand-hammered aluminum bodywork.

The V8 4.2 engine is a front center mounted and coupled to a 6-speed semiautomatic transmission. Both versions of the TZ3 are a modern version of the plea of stylistic "short tail", introduced by Zagato in the 60's and sees its greatest application on Alfa Romeo TZ and TZ2.
