Ferrari Car Market: climb to 8000 units per year?

If the forecasts of sales in emerging markets will be confirmed then there will be big news on the production of Ferrari. The prospect is that we get to 8,000 cars Ferrari annual production, a figure never reached before. The key point to achieve this level of production are just some of the emerging markets, particularly India, Latin America and of course China.

Especially the latter market has become vital to the growth of the Italian luxury house. Confirmation of this is the data of 2010 and the prospects for 2011 that could lead China to be the third largest commercial Prancing Horse. These data tell us that in perspective, about 500 of the 6,800-Ferrari 7,000 copies should be directed to its Chinese market, then 200 more than in 2010.

The only cause for concern to the Japanese market for the tragedy of the earthquake that struck earlier this year in Japan that saw Ferrari 400 cars a year sold.
