Subaru: WRX STi will be the model independent

The changing face of Impreza, Subaru sports sedan will soon be sacrificed on the altar of ecology and will have the thankless task of reducing fuel consumption and emissions. His boxer in fact, will no longer push the turbocharger, but will be limited to supply 150 hp through a very clean 2-liter naturally aspirated engine.

Performance as well, those that produce adrenaline and clamored for the world of rally, thinks a model designed exclusively for the pleasure of driving: the new WRX STi. This will have nothing in common with the new Impreza and will be developed completely independently. Good news for fans of this car glorious who triumphed in the rallies and convinced on the road.

The new WRX STi should start from a heart tested, the current 2.5 boxer with 300 hp, along with a new chassis and sophisticated electronics made in Japan, will represent a new benchmark in the category. It could not be otherwise given that his rival, the Mitsubishi EVO lose its racing nature under a more environmentally friendly.

Consequently, the sport of the Pleiades will be the only representative of a niche car specialist designed for rallies and calling on the road.
