After presenting his super road MP4-12C, the McLaren is already thinking about the future. He spoke on the occasion of the exhibition in New York managing director Anthony Sheriff, best known for being the "father" of the Formula 1 team of the British team. Sheriff said that the McLaren MP4-12C is not the only model they are working with the engineers of the company.
"It could produce a new one each year", he explained - though there is no detailed information on these models. Certainly there will be only that of the super course for two people, who will make great use of technology derived from Formula 1, and that prices will be higher and lower than the MP4-12C.
We read between the lines and then even greater use of lightweight materials like carbon fiber, but also of the lithium-ion batteries in style Kers. "The whole development program of new models will invest 1 billion dollars," he added. And if things do not go your way? "Our mentality of Formula 1 team leads us to solve problems, not to change direction."
