Beatification of John Paul II: ACi expands services in city

In these hours the situation on the roads leading to the capital Rome is increasingly getting worse, because this is close May 1, 2011, when will the beatification of John Paul II. The ICA, to try not to escalate the situation, decided to strengthen activities to meet the millions of pilgrims who are moving on the road network.

The Green Light Traffic Service, created by ICA with the Municipal Police of Rome, has been enhanced to provide information about road and traffic through more than 20 radio stations. The news will be broadcast every 30 minutes during the day today, until 4 am, Sunday, May 1 and end at 2 am and will be extended until the postponement of the Serie A, Lazio - Juventus.

The ICA then makes available to the roadside and medical assistance by calling the Call Center at 803,116, with a strengthening of the operational staff and task force of staff qualified in the statement, mechanical and medical. Particular attention was paid to the parking of buses of pilgrims, namely: Piazza of the Courts, near Castel Sant'Angelo.

Last contribution to the event of beatification of John Paul II arrives by Sara Insurance, insurance official of the Automobile Club Italy, which contributes to the safety of the event with 2,500 volunteers to prevent accidents and injuries.
