Alfa Romeo: the Canadian Minister Calls Marchionne to build in Canada

The meeting between Sergio Marchionne, the Minister of Economic Development Ontario in Canada, Sandra Pupatello Canadian Ambassador James Fox has spoken of the assembly of Alfa Romeo. In particular, we discussed the possibility of assembling cars Alfa Romeo in the Canadian establishments. Doing so may increase the production of the Alfa but at the same time there would be more jobs in Canada.

Produces Chrysler Canada plant in Brampton, the 300C and the Dodge Challenger, while the minivan plant in Windsor and the Town & Country. Canada may be an attractive market for Fiat because even there the market demand for small cars is increasing. In this summit to Fiat was given the proximity to the United States, tax benefits, at a rate of 25% for business, but also by more than 60% deduction for investments in research and development.
