Caterham Seven Supersport

The British home access Launches Version Seven range, which features a 1.6-liter with 140 hp Ford source of power that makes this gem a real racing car for everyday use. It seems that they do not pass the time, but the presentation of each new Caterham is always a good news for car fans. On this occasion, and after two years without releasing anything new to the market, comes the new Caterham Seven Supersport, which is the version to access the Seven range.

This new model features a 1.6-liter Ford home and prepared by Caterham, whose power reaches 140 hp. With this power and limited 520 kg. weight, the acceleration of this model is set at 4.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h, with a top speed of 200 km / h. This last figure seems rather small for a car of this kind, but Caterham was to encourage the acceleration over all with a very short change developments.

Other interesting mechanical properties are the presence of differential, wind deflector, roll bars, flywheel and Avon brand tires mounted on 13-inch wheels, same size as that used in Formula 1. Inside are sport seats with seat belts for four points, and a multitude of elements that reflect the Caterham R500, one of the most aggressive models of the British house.

As for the price, we speak of 22,995 pounds if you want factory-fitted, or if you buy 19,995 pounds are removed and a handyman. In any case, a very appealing whim ... and affordable.
