The Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf, the first two models of electric generation on the market, have successfully passed the tests of dell'IIHS crash tests, the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Both cars have indeed had the highest marks, which means maximum safety for passengers. The evidence for frontal and side impacts, the collision and overturning strength reflected in the structure of the cell body and interior.
Joe Nolan, vice president dell'IIHS, expressed great satisfaction for the tests on the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf confirming how the two automakers have committed and for the safety of passengers, including the environment, as we're still talking about two cars with zero emissions. Meanwhile in Europe were carried out on electrical NCAP crash test of the PSA group, namely the Citroen C-Zero and Peugeot ion.
The two cars received 4-star NCAP.
