Fiat, Marchionne: "The joint venture with Tata will continue"

The CEO of the Chrysler Group, Sergio Marchionne, has reiterated its intention to continue to work in synergy with the Indian group Tata to develop the joint venture which was signed in 2006 to distribute select models of the Lingotto and to produce on site for both engines to Fiat range and some models of Indian manufacturer.

Encountering some managers, Marchionne said, therefore, that the rumors that the agreement is about to be terminated should not be heard. Meanwhile, participated as speaker at the Business School of Bologna Alma, the number one home of Fiat has been harshly criticized by some representatives of the union Fiom, known to be contrary to the plan and the employment contract to be implemented in the factories of Pomigliano and Mirafiori.
