Fiat ready for the invasion of Russia. But not only ...

From North America to China and Russia, Fiat's plans are gradually expanding worldwide. The program includes new compact models to be launched in the United States, and especially INCIN inRussia, where following the defection of the Lingotto Sollers strategy appeared to be quite uncertain. The most important piece of the strategy Fiat emerging markets (but not only) is the C-Evo platform on which also gave rise to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

This is a good starting point, especially for its qualities of rigidity and impact resistance (which allowed the Juliet be the safest of the class). Enlarged to 4 cm, the platform will become the C-C Wide intended to give birth to the future planned for 2013 Dodge Avenger, but also models for the Chinese and Russian markets.

Not only that, it also emerged a new sedan from Fiat and Lancia model for Europe. The question, however, is a bit 'more complex. If the Dodge will be built in the States, the CEO of Chrysler Marchionne has signed agreements with China's Guangzhou Automobile Group to start a new plant planned for 2012.

You will be producing cars for Italy, for China and Russia. That is, until Marchionne will not find another partner in the Russian steppe to reach a production capacity of 300-350 thousand cars a year as required by the local government. By 2014, therefore, the platform C-Evo/C-Wide at this point really strategic, should rise to over 1 million cars for markets across the world.
