Ford of 4 to 8 April at the Hannover Messe: Together with the Rhein Energie AG, of Cologne and the University of Duisburg-Essen presented by car manufacturers on the technology exhibition, the Cologne Electric Mobility Model Project "Cologne-mobile". Included is the latest addition to the Cologne range electric vehicle - the Ford Transit Connect Electric.
The Ford Transit Connect Electric is currently in a pilot project in inner-city delivery and distribution facility in Cologne used. To complete the project presentation at the fair by a charging column of the Rhein Energie AG as well as a driving simulator at the University of Duisburg-Essen, based on a Ford Fiesta and allows visitors a "static" test drive.
cologne-mobile deals with the testing of battery-electric commercial vehicles in city traffic and the development of the necessary infrastructure. It is part of the "model Rhein-Ruhr" and is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Transport. (Ampnet / as)
