The Mercedes S 350 BlueTEC Cless has supplied the system ECO start / stop that will ensure lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with power from 258 hp and maximum torque of 620 Nm is already equipped with AdBlue system that brings the Euro 6 standard S-Class in 2014.
With the Start / Stop the average consumption of fuel reaches up to 6.2 l/100 km, while CO2 emissions amounted to 164 g / km. In the final consumption of 0.6 liters less and 13 grams less of CO2. The Mercedes V6 engine has been updated with technology already used on the V8 AMG: TWAS, twin wire arc sprayed.
In this way we also saved on weight, about 4.3 kg less, while the fuel was a -3%. The Mercedes S-Class 350 BlueTEC the same price as the last model, ie 76'517 € in Germany.
