Steve Norman, head of sales and marketing said that the new Renault Clio will have a much more intriguing design with shapes inspired by the DeZir: "We are doing everything to make it look as possible to the concept of Renault Sport." This is echoed by Laurens van den Acker, a number of deisgn Renault, and for the new Clio seems to have been inspired by the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Renault certainly is not new to generate changes of style and great innovation. The fact Renault were always very original, even at the cost of not being appreciated in the market. Judging by the rendering of the new Renault Clio, we are faced with a city car to say the least revolutionized.
This is a completely new car, with the opening gullwing doors and a coupe-style looks.
