Quake Japan, Toyota will build hope for the future

The earth continues to shake Japan, while still counting the damage of the tsunami on 11 March, but in this climate apocalypse, the world's largest automotive group, which responds to the name of Toyota, is more active than ever and reacts to the situation making new alliances. In fact, the President Akio Toyoda, flew to Seattle to sign a new agreement with Microsoft: "Honestly, I wondered whether I should leave Japan.

But while I think having to work hard to rebuild - Toyoda said - I am also convinced it is very important to build hope and promise for the future. " After all, April 18 many of the Japanese manufacturer facilities damaged by the tsunami will once again be operational and the President has no doubt on the recovery of the total production capacity of its plants.

"We believe that to fully restore the production and we have no plans to move the business elsewhere in the world. In general, in terms of capacity, now about 7 million vehicles worldwide that produce 4 million are produced outside of Japan : in the future we would like to continue to produce about 3 million cars in our country.

" Currently, the suppliers are the main cause of delays of normal production rates. In fact, because of damage to their facilities, 500 components useful in the construction of Toyota cars are at risk of supply. Despite the natural disaster that slammed into Japan, Toyota rolls up his sleeves with a great humility and sacrifice, and shows a determination comparable to its business records.
