Rating: Not enough evidence for red-conviction

The assertion of his own car at a traffic light in yellow anfahrbereit high in first gear switching witness, another motorist had run over the crossing then already in red, is sufficient for the conviction of offenders with a fine. Even if considerable doubt that the witness at the same time both his and the light of the controversial could have accused him of an eye.

This has now decided the district court Landstuhl (Ref. 4286 Js 13706/10). As the German Bar Hotline reports, met the Court a blameless until then taxi driver. Although denied the experienced professional driver that his lights could be seen by the man in the car during the start at all - at least not simultaneously own with the light signals.

But the witness insisted that only when switching on the lights before he brought the first yellow gear to have and then be rolled, while still on the other hand, the taxi drove into the intersection, as in the transverse direction of long red, was displayed. The court seemed to understand the perception of the witness.
