Renault Scenic: new 1.6 DCi 130 Cv

Renault is to debut on Scenic Scenic and the brand new X-Mod 1.6 dCi 130 hp Energy family. Born to balance performance and fuel consumption, the result is another example of downsizing and offers a peak torque of 320 Nm at 1500 rpm, coupled with Start / Stop system and energy recovery during braking.

The new engine, which will soon be adopted by many other models for the French company, will reduce the average emissions of the entire range, offering itself as one of the most popular engines.

Renault's goal is to drop below the average of 120 g / km in 2013, and reached a value of less than 100 g / km in 2016, when even the range of electric cars will be complete.
